BELGRADE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND THE FEDERATION OF ISRAELI CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE (FICC)

Upon invitation of the CIAA (Confederation of Food and Drink Industries of the EU ), representatives of the Association of Agriculture and Food Industry and Centre for International Economic Relations of the BCC, visited the CIAA's headquarters Brussels. The visit was organised upon the successful completion of the project realised under the Business Support Programme (BSP) aimed at providing assistance to food and beverage industry in the EU association countries.
Belgrade Chamber of Commerce was recognized by the CIAA as a true representative of economic operators, which ensured its active participation in the project realisation.

The BCC and CIAA representatives used the opportunity to elaborate project ideas for future IPA calls for proposals. They also exchanged views on operation of food and beverage industry in present conditions. It was concluded that the last year was successful for the industry and that it still shows satisfying results in spite of the global crises. For now, the EU expects problems only in milk production, while the other food production sectors do not show signs of crisis.
